Curriculum
The National Curriculum includes attainment targets, programmes of study and assessment arrangements at the end of each key stage.
Assessments include a teacher assessment. This means that the class teacher determines the level a child has attained in English, Maths and Science.
Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) are carried out at the end of Key Stage 1 (age 7) and Key Stage 2 (age 11). They are formal written tests and the school is required by law to publish the results.
