Safeguarding
Child Protection and Safeguarding at St. John’s Walham Green CE Primary School
Keeping ourselves and others safe at school is everyone’s responsibility and the priority for all staff and governors. All adults have been trained in Child Protection and Safeguarding.
We ensure that safeguarding themes are woven throughout our curriculum and that pupils are encouraged to become assertive individuals, empowered with the knowledge and understanding of how to keep themselves and others safe. Pupils report that they feel safe at our school and that they know what to do if they feel worried, anxious, overwhelmed or upset.
Our safeguarding team:
Mrs Wightwick Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Mrs Abu-Ghaida Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Mrs Wilson Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead |
Mr Stock Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead |
